Bhuigaon, a small village blessed to have the presence of shri swami Samarth. is Located between Nirmal, famous for the samathi of adya shankaracharya and girij known as the place of lord duatta or dattathreya in thane district, Maharashtra.
A holy village totally cut off from the crowd and pollution of the great city Mumbai, in the lap of mother nature, which can rejunavate your mind and body with its natural and serene atmosphere. being close to the seashore,makes it an excellent place for meditation and spiritual activites.
Located hardly 8 kms from Vasai and Nalasopara rly station makes it a easily accessible place for pilgrims from Mumbai and other places. Shree swami Samarth math, was built by shri Sandeep Mhatre inspired by his father, late shri Yashwant D mhatre, who was also a devotee and follower of data guru.he used to visit Gangapur regularly. In 1990 he asked sandeep ji to visit Gangapur. But due to the long distance and not being a firm believer, of datta at that time, he just went to akkalkot. while is akkalkot , after visiting the temple, he was sitting under a vadavriksha and thinking about his career and future.
After that he returned to his village. To his surprise after a few days of his return, he was blessed with a good post in well known L&T company. From that incident sandeep ji became a true and whole hearted devotee of swami Samarth. And a lot of good things started happening in his life. Unfortunately shri yaswant D Mhatre expired in 1992 and sandeepji had to take the whole responsibilities of his whole family on his shoulders.with the blessing of swami Samarth and the support of his mother Smt.Janabai and wife Mrs.Sulbha everything went fine till date. After the expiry of his father only sandeepji could understand the meaning of the words od swami samarth
"bhui nakos me tujhya pathishi ahe" (don't worry I am behind you). And he started worshipping swamiji more deeply.
A feeling started coming to his mind that he has to do some thing for swami Samarth for all the blessing swami has showered on him. this feeling came to a truth on 31st July 1997 , when he started nama japa and bhajan by having just a photo of swamiji. The neighbours and people leaving by started joining the bhajan and in a short time it became a large group, who started meeting for bhajan regularly.
